Leadership Support

 

At AR, we consider your Board of Directors as our employer.  Having our staff oversee all the operational details, your board can focus on strategic initiatives and leave the day-to-day tasks to us.  As proponents of strategic planning, we work with your Board to define what financial, staff and volunteer resources will be needed to accomplish your associations objectives.  

 

At the direction of the Board, our staff works closely with committees and task forces.  We maintain a database of all volunteers, which expedites communication between boards and volunteers.  These databases allow us to identify which members are interested in getting involved and in turn, allows them to be assigned to committees as quickly as possible. 

 

Our support of your Board can be as simple as meeting agenda development or as complex as strategic planning and new Board member orientations.  We customize and build our services around the objectives of your Board and will help your leadership to be successful.

 

AR's governance and administrative support are both scaled specifically to your needs. We will coordinate Board and Executive Committee meetings and teleconferences; solicit committee reports and gather input for the board's meeting agendas; participate in your meetings (in person or via conference calls); and provide both pro-active advice and request information as necessary.

 

Over time, as Board members are replaced and leadership cycles through various changes, we then become the institutional memory of your organization.
